About us
Short History
Global Air Ferry Ltd was originally formed in the United Kingdom as a ferry pilot provision and referal service. The company was formed by four newly qualified commercial pilots and flight instructors, all licensed in the USA and EASA, who wanted to establish a new standard in quality airplane transfer service from the United States to EU. After several years of successfull operation, pilot group grew larger and so did their experience. By 2010 GAF offered ferry service for any aircraft from any point to any point in the World. In 2012 GAF was registered in Florida, USA. The company chose its base to be located in Ormond Beach Regional AIrport, only a short distance from Orlando MCO and Daytona Beach DAB airfields. In March 2017, due to international operational demands and in order to simplify corporate taxation scheme, GAF was relocated to Asia and incorporated as a holdings company in Hong Kong SAR under the name "Global Air Holding Ltd" and became a primary ferry service provider for a number of US-made aircraft brokers located in China, India, and Hong Kong SAR. The partnership developed into a fruitful enterprise and branched out into other fields, such as crew training, pilot internship programs and employment placement. In March 2022, due to severe restrictins imposed by the Hong Kong government following the COVID outbreak, the company has re-located and re-incorporated in British Virgin Isled under Global Air (BVI) Inc.
Current Operation
Our current operation is focusing on four key service areas: international aircraft ferry, technical and flight support, importation and customs, aircraft registration. In its entirety, we bring a one-stop aircraft relocation solution to the table: our clients are able to hand over a complex project to us for completion, knowing that all aspects of it are going to be completed by one agency.
Completion of such projects requires resources. And we have them: a team of dedicated to the job ferry pilots who will fly your aircraft from any location to any location safely and efficiently; experienced aviation consultants who will take care of the flight planing, customs clearance and explain several cost-effective aircraft registration options; certified aircraft mechanics who will be able to inspect your aircraft before the ferry flight and add necessary modifications (fuel tanks, anti-icing equipment, etc) in order to undertake your ferry project in the fastest and safest way possible.
